How do I stop needing everyone to like me?

When I figure this out, I come to a deep sense of acceptance. This is who I am as God's son. This is where I'm going, and why I'm going, and how I'm going there. And I accept, and I give my permission, which is key, to everyone else to not agree with me, to not like me, to not want to be friends with me, et cetera. I give them permission. I say, listen, there's things about me that I don't like, that drive me crazy. How can I expect everyone else to love me or adore me or think that I'm great? That's egotism and pride. Real humility is saying, hey, it's okay, we're going to live our lives differently, we're going to have different objectives, we're going to have a different thought process, we're going to have a different path. And you go and be you, and I'm not going to judge you for that. And if you have a judgment on me, it's okay, but I'm not going to accept it. I'm not going to accept what you're saying, because I accept the path that I'm on. This is my permission that I give to everyone that I meet.
