How often should I go to confession if I'm struggling with porn?

An addiction cannot be dealt with by seeing a spiritual father once every three months, he says — accountability has to be day by day, week by week. He tells of a young man who broke the addiction largely because his priest made him call after every fall, a shame he could not bear, and describes men who text him daily with their sober count and state of mind. At minimum he tells young men to come to confession weekly: knowing you will stand before your spiritual father in three days does a huge amount to hold you on when temptation hits midweek.
