Is it a bad sign that I'm not being tempted anymore?

The holy fathers tell us that our life should be full of temptations and full of warfare. Because if we get to a point in our life where the devil leaves us alone, where he's not trying to do anything, he's not trying to harm us or distract us, he's not rallying against us in any way, they tell us this is the sure sign that we have lost the battle. Because when you are in war, the only way for you to know that you are in war is when the enemy is raining down upon you. If the shells cease, if everything becomes calm and peaceful in this life, then we can know that the devil no longer senses us out as a threat.
