Isn't having a family too stressful to take on right now?
So when we see God's plan, we should understand that what the world presents to us is always some kind of fantasy or illusion or delusion of what's going to make us happy. And the idea that prolonging childhood will bring happiness to us is a juvenile concept, because especially as men, we need to strive and to struggle and to press forward into maturity. And women likewise, they need those responsibilities of motherhood to shape them into womanhood. It grows and stretches and changes us when our lives are not lived for ourselves, but we actively take on that responsibility of caring for children, of cultivating them, providing for them, and having those responsibilities. Can it be stressful? Without faith, this life is unbearable. It is so stressful and so catastrophically hard. But with faith and a vibrant relationship with Christ, there are so many aspects of this life that can become a joy. They don't have to be a burden. They don't have to be something that we fear or that we run from, because our lives are linked with Christ. Our lives are linked with his design for our life. And so we're able to embrace it, even the unknowns and the uncertainty, knowing that he is traveling with us and wants to see us become successful in our lives, in our relationships, in our parenting, in our responsibilities and all of those things.
