Why do the church services feel so long to me?

So many times people come to church and they say that the church services are long. When they say that, it's indicative of the fact that they're living their life in a very scattered, very instantaneous gratification, feedback, doom scrolling, shorts, short attention span, constant lack of awareness of the present moment, and constantly fleeing reality. And then when someone comes to church, there's no cell phone, there's no interruption, it's more silent, it's more present. But what ends up happening is that makes them sometimes feel uncomfortable, because they're not used to transcending that emotional desire for happiness, that emotional desire for the kind of feelings in that moment that they're so often seeking after in their day-to-day life. Real spiritual living is not happiness.
