Manhood
What actually makes someone a real man?
Every man is made in God's image, he says, but the question is whether he will grow into God's likeness — like a son who resembles his father in face but not in character. Real, authentic masculinity is based on the person of God: he points to a TED speaker unable to define manhood and says the reason is that without Christ, who shows us the Father, there is no anchor for the definition. And the knowing must be personal, not informational — knowing about God from facts without knowing him is what he calls 'stalker syndrome.'
