Why does everyone think I'm crazy for having more kids and giving money away?

You know what I mean, you walk into a store with five kids, nobody goes, wow, we're glad you're here, we're finally glad you're here. There's none of that in this life. And you tell people the life of the Christian, nobody says, oh wow, we're so proud that you guys are all fasting, that you're giving up meat, you guys are doing a great job. What do you hear constantly, like co-workers and people? Why do you do that? Why are you wasting your time? Or family members. I've heard it from family members, like, why do you keep having kids, this, that and the other. Because the mind is warped to the things of this world and not set on the spiritual life. There's the same thing with, why do you give away money? Why are you giving away all this money? Why are you giving away this money every year? This doesn't make sense. You could be keeping it for yourself, you could fund all your kids through college, you could do this with it or that with it, or you can have it for yourself. Or, aren't you worried about retirement? Or, you're 41 and you're having a kid, what are you doing? Don't you want to. I mean, I've heard this from people. Don't you want to retire one day? All these different thoughts from people, because everything is about this life and trying to pack as much into this life as they can, whereas for the Christian this is about the life of sacrifice and servitude.
